Zach Haydt brings a disciplined, service-first mindset and extensive courtroom trial experience to estate planning, trust disputes, and probate litigation. His practice encompasses a wide range of complex matters, including trust and will contests, estate disputes, and the prosecution and defense of elder financial abuse claims.
Background & Experience: Zach began a career in public service by enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps right after high school, serving a five-year enlistment that included deployments to Afghanistan following 9/11 and two tours in Iraq.
Following his military service, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature from Temple University in Philadelphia.
Upon relocating to the West Coast, Zach clerked for federal administrative law judges before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of California, San Francisco College of the Law (Hastings). During law school, he earned the prestigious CALI Award for ranking at the top of his Criminal Procedure class and received a scholarship for his published writing on the PG&E bankruptcy. Zach went on to serve as a Public Defender, building a strong track record as a skilled litigator and winning trial attorney before entering private practice.
